Lina's PlaySpace was created by Lina and Ricardo, two siblings from Colombia with a deep passion for nurturing young minds. Coming from a large, close-knit family, Lina and Ricardo have always cherished the bonds that come with being surrounded by loved ones. However, moving to Canada meant leaving behind the warmth and connection of their extensive family.

In their journey to make Canada feel more like home, they found solace and joy in working with children. Through Lina's PlaySpace, they have been able to fill their hearts with love and create a new sense of family within the community. Each day spent with the children who visit their space brings them closer to the warmth and closeness they miss from back home.

The name "Lina's PlaySpace" was chosen because, no matter what other names they considered, the children always said they wanted to go back to Lina's. This simple but heartfelt sentiment reflects the deep connection and trust that children and their families have with Lina and Ricardo.

Lina and Ricardo have poured their hearts into making Lina's PlaySpace a haven where children can learn, grow, and play in a loving and supportive environment. Their passion for early childhood development and their desire to create a space that feels like family is what drives them every day.
